The Sovereign Folio is a meticulously designed document from a fictional California that declared its independence. We crafted a story so compelling, you'll wish it were real.
The cover is gold leatherette, stamped with a custom-made die. Saddle stitched, not stapled. 24 pages total, 20 interior pages, each one designed with intention. Every word in it was put there on purpose.
Inside: an ID page sized to fit a standard US passport photo if you have one. Dedicated sections for the parks you've been to, the places you've visited, and the food you've eaten your way through.
Plus a section called: The People. Every US state listed, with space for a name, a city, and a date. If you meet someone from Ohio at a California trailhead or a transplant from Louisiana who's been in California for fifteen years, they can sign it. It's part scavenger hunt, part yearbook. Make connection with the things we have in common, being in The Golden State.

We designed every inch of this booklet with narrative and detail in mind. This carries part of the fictional story of how California seceded from the US. It has space to add our "Visas" for all the places you visit and things you do or you can scrapbook the visas yourself.
